Food Service Worker

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Performs routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assembles food: Patient Trays, Individual Portions and Food Displays in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. Stocks food and supplies.
• Completes ware-washing/sanitizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and service work areas, serving areas, and equipment and removes garbage, trash and grease from the department areas.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff at all times
• Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
• Performs all job responsibilities safely using personal protective equipment
• Complies with all department policies/procedures and service guarantees
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Facility.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1-3 yrs experience in the food service setting
